CoD: Modern Warfare/Warzone Season 4 Battle Pass — Here's What To Expect

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone have entered a new chapter today with the release of the much-anticipated Season 4 update. As with every new season, there is another Battle Pass, and now we know what’s in it.

What’s In The Season 4 Battle Pass

The most exciting part of the Battle Pass is its new Operator, the iconic Call of Duty character Captain Price. Everyone who buys the Battle Pass will get Captain Price right away, though you can also work your way through the Battle Pass to unlock him through regular gameplay.

Those who do buy the Battle Pass will not only get Captain Price (and his character missions), but also a special operator skin, a mission for the Rodin, and a new “battle horn” customization item. Additionally, everyone who buys the Battle Pass gets a 10% XP boost for the entire season.

Players who reach the final tier of the Season 4 Battle Pass–Tier 100–will get the “Nightfall” skin, along with a legendary weapon blueprint, a vehicle skin, and other items.

Ride of the Valkyries

The “Ride of the Valkyries” battle horn item is unlocked at Tier 0, so you’ll get it almost right away just by playing. This horn plays that iconic song when you equip it onto a vehicle. This song was famously used in the Vietnam movie Apocalypse Now, and some people may wonder if this is a tease for the rumoured Cold War/Vietnam Call of Duty game said to be releasing this year.

More Vehicle Skins

Season 4’s Battle Pass introduces a series of new skins for vehicles in the Ground War and Warzone modes. There are five new skins in all, including one for each vehicle. They include “Ambush Alley,” which gives your ride a muddy camo look, and “From the Ashes,” which makes your helicopter look like it’s on fire.

Blueprints And More

There are a series of weapon blueprints included in the Modern Warfare/Warzone Season 4 Battle Pass, such as Sunset Hue LMG (Tier 18), Glacial Polish SMG (Tier 42), and the Muckrake sniper (Tier 76). And as with previous Battle Passes, the Season 4 pass includes a series of other extras including new watches, XP tokens, and allotments of Call of Duty Points.

New Operators And Skins

Outside of the Battle Pass, the Call of Duty Store is being updated with new Operators and skins. Sgt. Kyle “Gaz” Garrick will be available to purchase. You may remember him from the Modern Warfare campaign as a member of Task Force 141. The other new Operator is Roze, who is a former Army Ranger who is on the Allegiance side in the Jackals faction.

There are also more Operator skins, including the “Bloodletter” for Nikto. The rest were not announced.

The Season 4 update also adds three more multiplayer maps and some new in-game events for Warzone. For more, check out the Season 4 patch notes.
