Infinity Ward is expanding Call of Duty: Modern Warfare‘s intense 2v2 Gunfight mode. With the November 25 update, the developer introduced a new single-elimination tournament variant for Gunfight where 16 teams (32 players in all) compete across eight rounds until one team claims victory.

This is the same Gunfight mode you already know–where players have one life and spawn with a random loadout. Teams that win advance to the next round (and earn XP and other rewards) while the losers go back to the lobby with nothing. The team that wins the entire tournament earns a “high-tier” cosmetic reward in addition to an allotment of XP.

Should your team perform well enough to win a round, you’ll enter a lobby to await the next match. Infinity Ward said in a blog post that players should be patient as wait times can vary as other teams finish their matches.

The new Gunfight Tournament mode is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but it is available in beta on PS4, Xbox One, and PC for a limited time.

The newest update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has arrived, and while it’s not the most substantial, it does include some notable changes and improvements. This comes just ahead of the kickoff of Modern Warfare’s first free seasonal content drop, which will introduce new maps, modes, guns, and more.

Starting off, spawn cameras for the Headquarters and Hardpoint multiplayer modes are now turned off. Additionally, the patch fixes a problem related to how players could join a progress too late in a match in the free-for-all mode. On top of that, free-for-all mode is now located in the Filter menu, while four-player parties can now play together in Gun Game.

In terms of fixes, the new Modern Warfare update eliminates a bug that could cause laser sights on the P90 and MP5 to become “misaligned.” The update also removes some out-of-bounds and boosting exploits that some players were taking advantage of. For Spec Ops mode, the update includes a “minor adjustment” to difficulty, but that’s all that developer Infinity Ward had to say on the matter.

In other news, Infinity Ward has introduced a new variant of the 2v2 Gunfight mode. Players can now take part in a tournament to test their skills. In this single-elimination tournament for 16 teams, squads that win will keep moving through eight rounds until one is named victor. Walmart’s Black Friday 2019 ad has great Black Friday deals in gaming, tech, and entertainment. It was a little later to the Black Friday party than Target and Best Buy, but it came in strong. Walmart has tons of games on sale and has slashed prices on TVs, laptops, Chromebooks, and much more. It also has the fantastic PS4 Slim holiday 2019 bundle–a deal that went live early on November 24.

And if you’re shopping for a PS4 Pro this holiday season, Walmart’s PS4 Pro bundle with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available now for $300. With both the console and the full game included, this is the best deal on the PS4 Pro we’ve seen in a long time.

Walmart’s early Black Friday deals went live on November 24, and there’s a lot to sift through already. In addition to the two PS4 bundles mentioned above, a ton of Xbox One bundles are part of the early deals. You can also pick up Xbox One and PS4 controllers for their Black Friday prices right now. Most of the game deals won’t go live until November 27, but you can get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for its lowest Black Friday price of $38 right this second.

Walmart Black Friday 2019 store hours and start times

Walmart’s in-store deals run for only two days, Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday. Online shoppers can start filling their virtual carts Wednesday, November 27 at 7 PM PT / 10 PM ET. Walmart will also launch its official pre-Black Friday deals on Saturday, November 23, with many of those deals continuing through Cyber Monday while supplies last.
