It’s a new week, and that means Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the battle royale game Warzone are being updated once more with new playlists and more microtransaction bundles.
Activision provided an overview of the week’s new updates in a blog post, and we’ve highlighted the most notable parts below. They include the addition of some new modes across both games, while the 200-player Warzone playlist sticks around for now.
New Modes And Playlists
Starting with the new modes, Gunfight Tournaments makes its way back into rotation this week. In this mode, teams of two players each try to win four games before losing one to claim victory. Even if you’re knocked out, you’ll still earn XP and other rewards. The Realism Gun Game mode is also set to return this week.
Bomb Plant Moshpit is coming to Modern Warfare
A new playlist coming to Modern Warfare this week is Bomb Plant Moshpit. This playlist features a series of bomb-planting modes such as Search & Destroy and Demolition. Also in Modern Warfare this week are other playlists such as Dirty Old Houseboat–which features Rust, Shipment, and Shoot House 24/7–along with the regular Ground War mode that’s staying in rotation.
The existing Warzone modes–Solos, Duos, Trios, and 200-player Quads–will remain available in the game this week. Additionally, Plunder Blood Money is staying in the mix this week for Quads.
